| Strawberry Panic ep 6 |

Strawberry Panic is picking up in these few episodes. It's getting a lot more
interesting, and also Nagisa has toned down a lot in her annoying character.
She's more likable now, but nothing beats Chiyo-chan.
It's a pity that she's not in this episode, my dear Chiyo-chan.
In this episode, Nagisa explores the different club activities offered in school
and is unable to find a club of her liking. She even went over to St Le Rim,
where their club activites are a given a lot more freedom and the students
can open any kind of clubs they want.
There's even a cosplay club at St Le Rims, run by Chikaru-san who also happens
to be the student council president. And the best part about her club is there's
only 3 members. Lmao.
So anyway, Nagisa continues to look around the clubs and stumbles across
a greenhouse belonging to Etoile-sama. After watching Ouran High, students
owning something as big as this isn't really that shocking to me after all. Hahaha.
Etoile-sama invites her to join her in her planting of flowers, and the two
slowly blossoms together. It's really sweet too. Much then then the forced
sex love that they had in the earlier episodes. Lol.
And also, a little bit of Etoile is revealed- She seems to suffer the usual case
of a famous and well loved personality, but lonely in the insight. Basically,
when you see her, Britney Spear's Lucky should be playing in the background.
Hahaha. And no, i don't like Britney.
Big leap in Etoile-sama and Nagisa's relationship, and i'm hoping it grows.
Though there's some nagging suspicion that Etoile could be playing with her.
Next episode looks like there's going to be some politics going on with Spica
and Miatre. Definitely exciting.

| Disgaea ep 3 |

And after the super long delay, i finally get to watch the 3rd episode of Disgaea.
I must confess that i really hated the first 2 episodes and i was about to drop it.
Being a fan of the game itself, the anime wasn't doing justice to it at all.
Perhaps only Etna was worth watching for.
They pulled a switcheroo in this episode. Picture Flonne in Etna's outfit and
having her personality and vice versa for Etna. Complete pwnage.
And no, i'm not lying nor did i photoshopped that picture. It is for real. haha.
It's so funny when Etna is so loving to the prinnies and still overwork them
in the name of love. HAHAHA. And the bitchy Flonne packs a punch too.
Really hilarious episode.
And i thought this anime was a goner. There's some hope for it.
Hahaha.

And also, i found a new MMORPG game to play, Legend of Ares. Not exactly the most graphically stunning game, but open beta was on on the 12th of May. Pretty recent, so i'm checking it out. PvP system looks good due to the 2 country war thingy. Oh i love PvP. Gonna try it out and i'll see if it's worth playing. And in case you want to register, use Internet Explorer. Firefox doesn't work for its stupid registration.

3 Haruhism goodies today.
First up, as part of my Haruhism spritiual growth, i embarked on a collection
spree of any Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu related items. And i found a pretty
interesting manga. I believe it's latest episode of the manga series.
Entitled Suzumiya Haruhi no Seiheki - Takane no hanazono, it has mind numbing
scenes of our mistress getting raped by mysterious tentacles while giving the
ever sarcastic but lovable Kyon a head. Hahaha.
If you have realized it by now, i'm joking about that manga part. It's a H-doujin.
Since collecting doujinshi are part of an otaku's hobby, i shall pretend it's nothing
dirty about it, though i must admit that tentacle rape isn't my cup of tea. Don't
believe me about that doujinshi part? Watch Genshiken. It's the holy bible
for otakus. It's more like a training video to be a full fledge otaku in my opinion.
Hahaha.
So anyway, members of the SOS Dan and fellow worshippers of Haruhism,
if you're interested in getting this, leave a comment and i'll give upload it to

Yuutsu idol show. Yeap, i saw Hirano Aya in person. Lol, Just kidding.

( 1/6 Natsuki Cold Cast )
Saw this beautiful 1/6 Cold Cast figure of Natsuki from Mai-HiME, and i nearly
killed myself over it. Just when i thought i have somewhat ejected the whole
Mai-HiME/Otome syndrome out of my system- Ask aeroflare how bad it was,
New Line had to release something like this for 14,500 yen.
Like omfg, 14.5k yen? It cost a fricking SGD$206 or US$131 to get that.
I do know cold cast are a lot more expensive then PVCs, but.. but..
ah well. I shall get it and make that the first cold cast in my collection.
She's just so beautiful. But I don't remember her ever wearing a one piece in
Mai-HiME. It looks a little bit like the school swimsuits that the girls wear in
Mai-Otome though, color scheme wise. It's missing the cuts at the side
and the wings on the front.
Ah well, who cares. All i need now is a cold cast Shizuru and i'll be officially
broke again.

| Ah! My Goddess ~Sorezore no Tsubasa~ ep 1 |

It took me forever to finish up the first season of Ah! My Goddess. I can finally
start on the second season, though i'm a bit slow behind.
The second season starts off a few months where the first season left us.
There's a vast improvement in the drawings and animation, which is without
a doubt since the first season was aired in 2005. The first OVA was released
in 1993, so Ah! My Goddess is practically vintage. Lol.
It's a bit hard to describe the episodes in Ah! My Goddess because it's pretty
random. Usually slice of life type of episodes until the later part when something
major happens.
The plot summary tells us something that threatens to tear apart Belldandy and
Keiichi apart, blah blah blah. We all know that it will never happen anyway. Haha.
This episode shows the renewal of Belldandy's contract with Keiichi, since their
contract was lost after the Yggdrasil system was corrupted in the first season.
And in order for them to get the contract back, they have to get Keiichi to repeat
his contract in the exact words he used when he first binded Belldandy to him.
And of course, our dear klutz ball cannot remember it for the love of Belldandy.
Plenty of "assistance" from Urd and Skuld too. >D I like Urd a lot after the first
season. Being half demon and half goddess is just so her. Skuld toned down
on the annoying factor in this season, she's more receptive to Keiichi now but
she's still using Banpei-kun to threat him. Hahaha.
I found the OP "Shiawase no Iro (幸せのいろ; Color of Happiness)" by Yoko Ishida
irritating in the beginning because of the bagpipes. Lol. But because i been listening
to the OP even before i started watching the second season, i have already gotten
used to it and i love it. It's suit the whole theme of the anime and you can really
feel Belldandy singing it.
And the ED "Bokura no Kiseki (僕らのキセキ; Our Miracle)" also by Yoko Ishida,
has a nice catchy theme. It's okay, not bad nor very outstanding either. Just
average compared to the other Eds around *cough*Haruhi*cough*
And after a very long time, reviews with screenies!

| Disgaea ep 4 |

It just gets better for Disgaea. Though this episode's animation quality is
a bit bad. The characters and proportions are a little off. And it happens
quite frequently when they do a full body scene.
The animators must have gotten really lazy to pull off something like this.
Anyway, in this episode the prinnies goes on a strike. Hahaha. It's a matter
of them before the did something like this, considering their working conditions
under Laharl and Etna. Hahaha. And to pay them their salaries, Laharl
and gang goes on a house raiding spree.
It's amazing that all the castles that they raided were pratically unguarded
with all the treasures just waiting for the prinnie squad to take. As usual,
Flonne goes on telling them that it's wrong but nobody gives a flying hoot.
I like how they use the no names characters from the game as bounty
hunters after Laharl's head. Was fun seeing them, and my craving for
Disgaea 2 only grew stronger.
A small segment of Jenisky and his money hungry father, and his request
to Laharl to have him kill his father. Nothing interesting about this,
maybe except for the fact that he looks like one of the mini-boss in the game.
Oh and one note, Flonne's cooking sucks. She'll never make a good wife.
Hahahahaha.
